Bridge Accounting & Advisory Services was started in 2023 by John Pacheco.  John worked for a leading real estate developer in Canada for 23 years, including seven years in the capacity as Vice President of Accounting & Operations. Over the years, John has also served small businesses and volunteered his time with many charities and not-for-profit organizations which has given him a more developed appreciation that the bottom-line is only one of many lines on a financial statement.

Bridge AAS was actually inspired by John’s wife, Lara, who encouraged him to launch a consulting business.  She had seen John get involved with non-profit organizations pro-bono, roll up his sleeves, address the challenges, stick around for a while to ensure a smooth roll out of the recommendations, and then move on.   Being a Chartered Professional Accountant by profession, John’s training is not in consulting, but as is common with things in life, sometimes you discover you’re good at something you don’t have any formal training in.  It’s the intuitive GPS we’ve been blessed with by God, but too few of us seem to recognize it.
