Bridge AAS offers a few different options to serve your accounting and tax needs. Each of these options is tailored to the three general categories in which small businesses need accounting and financial management services.  With today’s changing technology, it’s more important than ever to focus on asking the right questions.

Trustee & Admin Services

Bridge AAS  serves clients who are seeking a trusted and competent executor for their estate management after they pass away.

We also offers clerical and administrative support for individuals and companies seeking to accomplish tasks which are monotonous or time-consuming but the cost would otherwise be too prohibitive.

Management & Organizational Consulting

One of the reasons Bridge AAS was conceived was to help not-for-profit organizations and charities to organize and establish themselves to fulfill their mission.  It is a true blessing indeed to be at the forefront of launching something from scratch which will have an incredibly positive impact on the formation and development of so many peoples' lives.

Combined with his non-profit experience, John’s background in his father's family business and his work experience at an executive level in a mid-sized company gives him a unique perspective on organizational structure and management.

Asking the right questions

DIY+

This is a unique option for small businesses which has been made possible with the launch of new cloud-based accounting systems.  This is tailored for smaller business owners who don’t write many cheques, but who still have many transactions going through their bank accounts (auto withdrawals, credit card charges, electronic fund transfers, etc.).  With this option, Bridge AAS will set you up and tutor you on  how to do your own basic accounting so you don’t have to pay for a bookkeeper.   This option takes “Do-It-Yourself” to a whole new level - where the doing is mostly done by the app and not by you!   Bridge AAS is the “+” in the DIY.  We’ll visit you on your Cloud once in a while to ensure everything is in order and have a chat, if necessary.

Accounting & Tax

For basic bookkeeping and accounting services, Bridge AAS offers traditional accounting services from bookkeeping to financial statement preparation (including assisting with Reviews and Audits) to payroll and all tax filings including Charity Returns for registered charities.  We’ll do the basic bookkeeping or work with your existing bookkeeper, and then take it from there.  If your business is just looking for a trustworthy and conscientious individual to check the compliance boxes, ensure your financials are up- to-date, and do some basic analysis for you, then this service is for you.

Cyber CFO

Drawing on our executive experience and advanced levels of accounting and financial analysis, Bridge AAS is well positioned to offer support to your existing staff in a variety of areas from duties associated with a Controller or at a CFO-level.  Many small businesses today either don’t need or cannot afford a full time Controller or Chief Financial Officer.  Why pay full price when a part-time position or a cyber service is sufficient for your needs?  Why not train the people you have to do some part of the job, reward them with a bump in salary, and cut your executive level service to only what is necessary?  If you don’t start asking the right questions, you won’t get the right answers.

Personal Financial Planning

Financial management services provided to small businesses is only half of the puzzle. The other half is the owners themselves and how they relate to the business.  For some businesses, the business and the principals are basically one and the same.  For other businesses, there is a clear line and separation between the two.  Throw in the legal and tax structure of the business, strategic planning, family politics, lifestyle choices, succession, retirement planning,  etc. and the list of considerations is substantial.  Whether your situation is complex or simple, Bridge is here to assist you in making the best decisions for your family and business.  Everyone from those of modest means to those of substantial means needs good financial advice.
